This Bensalem flower field is the perfect location for outdoor family photos. The flowers tend to bloom in late August/September which is the perfect time of year since it starts to cool down but we still have those sweet warm summer evening when the sun hits the perfect spot. When we shoot in the field, we use a variety of different spots giving us different backdrops depending on how the sun is hitting the photo location. For this shoot, we were able to utilize the vintage white cradle I have. This was the perfect solution to not sitting in the spiky grass all while letting us explore the earth.
Miss S and I first met at her newborn session last summer. We shot a series of photos of her cuddled by mom and dad and her by herself. We’ve had a few sessions in between (including the Simply Baby Session) and each time is filled with more and more personality. Her one year shoot was all smiles and laughter — and of course some flower eating. This one-year-old age is so much fun because they just love to sit and explore their surroundings. All the small details of each photo will be remembered and cherished as this little one continues to grow.
When mom and dad hop in the family photos it makes the session so much more fun because I love to capture the interactive candid photos that are hard to get when you’re alone with your kids. Check out those adorable smiles when mom and dad are tossing her in the air. I think they are all equally happy during this session!
Thanks mom and dad for trusting me with these times!
