Your wedding dress is something you have likely stuffed in the back of a closet somewhere. Maybe you moved around and don’t even know where it is at the moment.
Your wedding dress was something you promised to keep nearby to use again one day. Often times, life gets crazy and our dress becomes part of the storage we keep somewhere in our home. Moms are now digging out the dress to use for a heirloom to give to their daughter one day or to simply celebrate today and bring back the beauty that unfolded on her wedding day.
On this very special day, mom brought her veil and dress into the studio. I had some flowers on hand to match the fun loving personality of this little lady who I have worked with before. We had clips on hand and were ready to go. It was a beautiful day so we were able to incorporate the outside studio as well. Cheers to dad for the shades. They added a great touch in this very first image. These keepsakes are something you will cherish forever. Find the video portrait here!
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance..
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Livin’ might mean takin’ chances but they’re worth takin’,
Lovin’ might be a mistake but it’s worth makin’,
Don’t let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin’ out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
