Squishy Toes // Yardley Newborn Photographer

When mom first contacted me for a newborn portrait session back in February, she mentioned that her daughter was three weeks old and that big brother was 15 months old. I knew immediately knew that an in-home newborn portrait session would be the perfect match for this growing family of four. I was thrilled to take on the 2 under 2 challenge. With some tricks up my sleeve and some extra help on hand, we had a successful photo session and everyone was still smiling by the end —-not to mention baby M was exhausted! When I arrived at their home in Yardley for the session, all hands were on deck getting the kids ready for their shoot.

My favorite part of in-home newborn sessions is allowing the kids to be in their own environment. We were able to use all different areas in their home to capture these special first days at home as a family of 4. The goal of the session was to capture a family portrait for the wall and photos of the kids together. It was a success! These were the first family portraits done in their new home! My absolute favorite part of the house is the warm and welcoming family room with a picture perfect window with beautiful light. Before the session, mom sent me photos of what she had picked out for the kids to wear. I was in love with the beautiful colors she selected that complemented the home and the kids personalities. This first image of dad with his new love melts my heart!
Thank you so much mom and dad for trusting me with these very special memories. I really enjoyed working with each of you! I hope to work with you again in the near future.
