Welcome Miss G \\ Yardley, PA Newborn Photographer

Newborn Session with Siblings

We first met several years ago for a family photo session before Baby G was welcomed into the world. Big sister and brother siblings were so much younger, 1 & 2 years old. You can see in these portraits just how bonded they are. Soon after their family photo session, we met for a beach photography session where these two siblings could run free while I documented it. This year, when baby G arrived, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph their newborn session with siblings.

Mom contacted me  saying that she didn’t exactly plan to do a newborn photography session, but the days are going by too quick and she wants to capture this unique and special family time before baby G is out of the sleepy and posable newborn phase.

So, we did. I was able to schedule their newborn photo shoot right away. Since newborns are best photographed in the first two weeks of life, I had them come in to the Newtown studio that weekend.  Moving from 2 kids to 3 has it’s challenges, but knowing that G’s siblings are a bit more independent, things seem to be going smooth — right mom?

Posing & Candids

Usually at a newborn session with siblings, the posing opportunities are endless. We can sit, lay, cuddle and smile upon request. They still want to do as their told, so as you can see in these beautiful portraits, we were able to capture a variety of poses and candids sibling portraits. They were both as equally excited to hold their sister proudly in their arms. Look at that big smile on big brothers face!

Clothing

Mom brought two different outfits — one casual and one more fancy. Oh my, that golden dress on big sis was breath taking with her complexion and blond hair. I was thrilled mom brought along the extra vest for her son because he totally rocked it!

Family Heirlooms

We met after their newborn photo session to go through their photos. I think mom (and maybe dad) was in tears watching their video. Big sister proudly proclaimed that she wanted “that one and that one and that one” for her bedroom. I just love when the kids have fun with their portraits too. Together, with my handy wall art tool, we pulled some ideas together on how they could display their beautiful newborn and family photos in collections around their home. Being at their home, I could show them exactly what that would look like on their walls. I can’t wait to see the final results!

Don’t forget to watch the emotional video with music below!
