We met a few years back in Montgomery County, PA for their last fall family portraits. The sisters have grown so much and have an incredible bond. Many of these poses they did on their own. My favorite moments to capture are the candid ones when I just observe the family doing their thing and pretending I’m not there. It’s not always easy as many are looking for direction, but with a few tools on hand it’s very possible to make that happen.
This family of four arrived with their current family photo in hand — girls were very young, a 20×24 framed wall print. They wanted to update the frame to hang over their mantle in the family. Needless to say, they came to the right place! Working with families on their wall art is almost my favorite part of my job — first being photographing these sweet families!
I love helping families update their frames and get some new fresh photos in there, just in time for the new year. Often, they will leave their appointment with a bunch of different ways to bring their new family art into their home. My most favorite pieces of wall art are traditional framed wall prints and canvas’. So special in their own way.
I’ll update this post once I get a photo from the family of their final art! For now, check out the fun we had here!
