Children’s Portraits Bucks County PA – We partnered with Goodnoes Ice Cream in Newtown, PA for this very fun stylized photo shoot! We were blessed with a beautiful summer early evening in Bucks County at a serene location in Newtown. I was almost 8 months pregnant, but that didn’t matter! With plenty of water on hand, I was totally in love with photographing these cutie pies who were very excited to be involved.
We used this fancy little antique truck as the main “prop” for the photo shoot. With the ice cream to follow and our most adorable subjects, this shoot turned into a special time for these families. As an added bonus, I had the tutu dresses and teepee on hand for the kids to use if they wanted. This added such a fun detail to the children’s portraits. These sessions were only 15 minutes or so long. This is plenty of time for the kids to play around while I observe.
For clothing, I suggested the bright and cheerful colors that you see in many shops these days. I loved how some of the kids came accessorized with ice cream hair pieces, necklaces and even shirts with ice cream cones on them. As you can see in the post, the kids really went to town with their expressions and poses for the camera. We had a blast!
I was so happy to see many of these prints framed for playrooms and also arrive in my mail on Christmas cards.
Great post.
What a fun themed photo idea. I love the girl in the glasses! Let us know if you are doing these photo shoots this summer.
