St Andrew’s Catholic Church Communion
It was a chilly day in April. Just a few weeks before E’s First Holy Communion celebration. Mom and I had discussed the best location to use for the photo shoot. When mom mentioned shooting the communion portraits at St Andrew’s Catholic Church in Newtown, I knew right away that would be the perfect location to capture this very special memory for E and her family.
Indoor & Outdoor Photos
We started outside of the church where things were just starting to come to bloom. This session was the week after Easter Sunday so the outside of the church had beautiful spring wreaths covering the doors in pretty spring colors. Along the walkway outside were some welcoming benches that lead to the entry way of the church. Once inside, I knew we had to take advantage of the stained glass windows and the seemingly perfect pews. I fell in love with the lighting also. With E in her dress and veil we headed towards the side of the church.
Towards the end of the session, mom wanted to give her daughter a special gift. E’s expression when she opened the gift was priceless. We were able to capture every detail for her to cherish for years to come.
