Fall Foliage in Bucks County, PA

The fall foliage in Bucks County, PA was at its peak making for the perfect family photography backdrop. It was a beautiful and warm fall day for a family photo shoot outside the Bucks County studio in Newtown. The fall leaves were changing and my clients were dressed in their complementing attire. This little lady had just turned one, a great time for outdoor family portraits.

The Poses::

I hear it all the time, “my one year old will not sit still”. Guess what? The more they move around the merrier for me!

Before each session, I have mom or dad complete the pre-session questionnaire. I ask some very important questions to help me gather information on the personality of their child(ren) and the style of their family. It’s important that I am aware of the little details when photographing children because I want them to be as happy and natural as possible.

Some of my favorite poses for families with children in the 1 year to 3-year ages include a lot of walking, throwing and cuddling. I always tell my clients, it’s best just to let your little one run the show. We will let him or her explore as I document all the special expressions with added family portraits in between. Let them roam and we shall follow. My outside studio is great for this expectation. It’s safe and child-friendly.

The Final Wall Art::
I was thrilled when mom had a wall in mind that she had planned to decorate in their new home in Montgomery County, PA. She knew right away that a set of 8 8×10 prints matted in frames would be the perfect match for their wall. This is a style I often recommend as it’s versatile and can grow over time with your family!

I just can’t get over how sweet and adorable you are, little one!
