Colorful Fall Leaves and Sibling Photos
Of course the one of the first questions I ask my clients when they inquiry is, how old are your children? Then, tell me about your children? I hope to learn as much as I can about your little ones before the photo shoot so that I am 100% prepared for your outdoor family photo session. This also helps me suggest the most appropriate outdoor locations for your portrait session! Of course being fall, or any beautiful season for that matter, it’s fun to scope out the best spot for a scenic backdrop. Using the leaves in the photos either to play with or just add as an extra detail is always a bonus. I always have my subjects help prep the scene by choosing the most colorful leaves they can find!
Sibling Photos
When it comes to multiple children, it’s important to understand the age difference between siblings. My little guy here was out of toddler-hood. Let’s face it, it’s difficult to capture two littles under two! When the older sibling is in the three plus age range, it’s a whole different ball game! He understands more when it comes to taking their photos and snuggling up on the little sister or brother.
Before my outdoor family photo sessions, I am sure to prep the area. This includes scoping out my location for age appropriate spots for the kids to sit and walk through. Mom had mentioned when we spoke that their daughters first birthday was right around the corner. My little couch is always a favorite and perfect for those who are learning to walk. They can lean, sit and of course lay on the baby prop!
Thank you so much mom and dad for trusting me with your absolutely adorable little ones. PS – I really loved your outfit selections!
