Bucks County, PA Family Photographers

The S family chose to have their family photo shoot at their new home in Yardley, PA. Traveling out to homes in the Philadelphia region for a family photo session always inspires me. I love getting to know my clients in their homes and using the home to create memories and portraits of their family. It’s important to me that I find what they love to do as a family and integrate that into their photo shoot. Keeping the scene as natural as possible is my priority. I truly love the candid moments that come along with a family photography session in a client’s home.

The Family

This beautiful family of four just moved to Philadelphia from Ohio! With two young girls, I’m sure this was no easy task. I had the opportunity to be their first family photographer here in Bucks County, PA. How gorgeous are they?! Mom did a great job dressing everyone for the photo shoot with navy and white with a pop of red. I just adore the simple pattern she added into the youngest girl’s dress and the texture added to her sister’s outfit. Mom did great layering herself and keeping dad in a more neutral to balance it all out.

The Backdrop

Check out the beautiful backyard of this new home. It was full of big old trees and depth of tones and textures. The fall foliage was perfectly in bloom. The girls enjoyed throwing the leaves and dancing in the sunset right in their own backyard. I knew the family moments were important to document as well as sibling and individual poses of the girls. I think they loved having their photos taken! Can you tell?
