Mommy and Me Photo Session in Philadelphia
Going on year 8 of our annual mommy and me photo session with these two great people – a mama and her beautiful daughter in Philadelphia. Ever since year since N was 9 months old, we have been meeting at the same spot – The Azalea Garden in Philadelphia behind the beautiful Art Museum. Each spring may bring a similar backdrop and forecast, but one thing that changes is how much older N is each year.
Spring Season Downtown
It’s lovely meeting clients in the spring, there is so much happening there along boathouse row on a Saturday evening. I may or may not have tried to scope out the scene of the beautiful bride and groom that was getting married directly behind us at the Water Works Restaurant. The spring air, the band drumming and the view of cocktail hour with fresh drinks and appetizers nearby 😉
Repeat Photography Clients
It’s truly a blessing to have the opportunity to photograph so many of my clients year after year. I love growing with my clients and their families. Working together again each year makes the session that much more fun. It’s a great time to catch up. It’s also great for the little ones because they get to know me and I get to know them. This way, they are comfortable with me and their personality will truly shine! Parents also know what to expect, giving them a chance to sort of brainstorm their ideas to share with me before the session.
Final Wall Art
I hear it often. If it weren’t for you, we would have no photos on our walls. My goal is always to provide you with one high-quality professional grade mounted print. This mama truly loves her wall art, digital files for keepsake and smaller accessories. I’m so happy to provide those products for my clients. I know their walls bring them joy in each passing and that’s what it’s all about.
Thank you, mom, for trusting me with these heirlooms each year! It’s really been a joy.
Each year, I’ll change it up for some different poses. Some of my favorite moments are the “hugging” ones. We almost always capture that one as well as the lap one with N on her mom’s lap. I know that one is special to mom. Scroll below for my absolute favorite shot of them. The black and white at the very bottom here.
