Montgomery County, PA Lifestyle Portrait Session
We had met back in high school and have been close friends since then! Late nights out and weekend getaways are how we use to spend our time together. Years later, they welcomed their first beautiful daughter. They traveled out to the photo studio in Newtown for her newborn photo session plus family (0h, how the years have passed by) Shortly after, their 2nd little girl arrived. We again met over the studio for more newborn photos! Fast forward to now, they have their sweet little boy — and he just turned one! With the new home on its way, we wanted to capture all the feels while documenting their sweet little one’s first birthday!
Lifestyle Portrait Experience in Philadelphia
Lifestyle sessions in my clients home have become one of my favorite types of photos sessions. It’s true that everyone is much more relaxed at home. When working in my clients home, I love using both the indoor and outdoor space to create family memories that paint the whole picture. My favorite areas to use during the photo shoot are the living spaces, master bedroom, and front porch. Any other areas of beautiful light are a no brainer. Here, we are in their bonus room just off the kitchen. I love this family portrait!
Moving Around the Home at Lifestyle Photo Shoot
Moving around the home during a lifestyle photo shoot creates more opportunity to capture the family in their element and to better tell their story. My favorite place for indoor family portraits at my clients home is always the family room, right on their couch! I love squeezing everyone close together, kids on laps or around their parents.
Maybe it’s the front porch or another outside space if there is an outdoor space and lighting allows, I’m all over it! The kids love getting outside at their photo shoot.
