Each portrait experience is designed around the unique personality of your family. Your experience begins with a quick pre-session questionnaire or phone consult that allows us to identify the needs of your family and vision for your session. The session is a fun family experience where we play, tickle and cuddle to capture those beautiful moments that you don’t want to lose sight of.

Together, we will create beautiful art for your family to enjoy for generations to come. The HTP portrait experience is designed carefully with your little ones in mind. Before you arrive, I’ll set up stations for your family to move through. Since kids only last a few minutes in one spot, this makes it fun to capture a variety of different moments. From the shy to the silly and every personality in between, I have seen it all. I am confident that you will be impressed with the portraits from your family experience.

After your session, I will pull the best moments for your session to create a collection of images. After each portrait is individually edited, we will meet to watch your video and select your favorite, must have, melt your heart portraits.

Signature Style

If you’ve had a look through the galleries, I’m sure you noticed that the HTP style is quite simple. Keeping the focus on the subject by using soft tones, natural light and elements of the earth is important to us.

Locations

The HTP portrait experiences take place at a number of unique locations in the Greater Philadelphia area. After you get in touch with us to book a session, we’ll talk about what your vision is for the final product. We match your families personality to one of the several locations we use. Would you prefer a garden style or wheat field backdrop? How about architectural or urban? If you’re not sure, we’ll help with that too.

The HTP Studio 

With it’s beautiful walkways & gardens, our indoor / outdoor natural light, converted farmhouse studio in Newtown, PA is a location that we get the most inquiries for.

The studio is located in historic Newtown, PA; voted coolest small town in America in 2011. The HTP workspace offers organic and earthy backdrop and plenty of treasured spots to work with all subjects of all ages. Sometimes referred to as “the castle” by our youngest clients is nothing short of unique. There is plenty of parking, restrooms on site and easy access to some great restaurants for lunch afterwards.

The studio is open by appointment only.

The studio is located conveniently off Rt 95 and Rt 1 about 35 minutes north of Philadelphia, 25 minutes south east of Princeton, NJ
