Outdoor Photographer in Philadelphia
Traveling on site to meet a client always inspires me as an outdoor photographer in Philadelphia. This location in the Philadelphia suburbs is one of my original spots for photography session. I would frequent Lorimer Park in Huntingdon Valley, PA pretty often prior to having my outside studio in Bucks County. The fall foliage is great here and there are tons of textures and backlit areas that work as the perfect backdrop for fall family portraits in Philadelphia.
I had the pleasure of photographing this now 18 month old boy back when he turned one! We did a cake smash photo shoot at the studio in Newtown. I adored the photos of him smashing his cake to commemorate his first birthday – I’m pretty sure he was the best cake smasher in all of Philadelphia!
When mom reached out for family photos this time, I was thrilled! I knew the perfect spot to give their little guy plenty of space to roam. At this age of course “they don’t sit still” which is what I hear ALL the time from my client of toddlers. Parents often explain in their pre-photography session questionnaire that their child is difficult to grab a photo of since they are often on the go. I truly love my toddler age client and the toddler portrait challenge is never a problem in my book. The number one rule – just head outside!
Check out the love we captured here with this sweet family of three at Lorimer Park in the Philadelphia suburbs!
