The F Family Photo Shoot in Philadelphia | Heather Thomas Photography
Summer 2019 in Greater Philadelphia. There is no better time to update those family portraits. Summer is a favorite season for many. Sundresses and shorts. We all have that warm summer glow. This lovely family of 4 met me at the field just outside Philadelphia to take advantage of the Barefoot Mini Portrait Session opportunity. This was a 15 minute family portrait session. They dressed in pretty shades of pink, purple and blue. Mom always does a nice job with outfit tones for family portraits – we’ve had several photo sessions prior to this one.
Recent Family Portraits
One of our recent photo session – well, not that recent anymore, was when baby sister arrived. We held the newborn and family portrait session at the studio in Newtown, Bucks County. She was an early summer baby, so this family session happen exactly at the right time.
A little shy at first, perfect for the more posed family portraits that I enjoy capturing at the begging at the session. The fields and state parks in the Lower Bucks County area, just surrounding Philadelphia lend for a very picturesque backdrop. When the sun sets in the evening, the lush greens and beige tones soften to complement all skins tones for the perfect family portrait.
Thank you, Mom and Dad for trusting me through the years with your family portraits!
Some of my favorite images of this family is always the individual portraits of the kids. Look at those dimples and that handsome smile!
A true family portrait. Hands and arms around each other!

Those hands and beautiful smiles truly tell the story of their sibling bond.
