Golden Hour at the Jersey Shore // Sea Isle City Beach Photographers

FAMILY MEMORIES AT THE BEACH

I have had the pleasure of working with this lovely family for about five years. For the previous session, they were still just a family of four, and mom was pregnant with the youngest. It’s amazing how quickly time flies! And this Sea Isle City beach photography session brought us together once more.

I loved capturing those joyful moments at this perfect golden hour at the Jersey Shore. Children bring so much energy and movement to portraits. From the oldest daughter jumping in the ocean in her pastel purple dress to dad swinging around his son by the arms on the beach, these kids give the greatest element of livelihood to the photos.

We captured some sweet moments of the trio of kids (and the whole family) on the sand path leading to the beach. The shimmering sun offered a golden light in the background that was almost heavenly. I also loved getting those three on the sand by the water. We used a little sailboat as a prop that added a nice touch with the silhouetted houses glowing in the background. And one of my favorites is actually the siblings from behind as they are looking out at the crashing waves. It’s such a simple, pure moment that mom and dad are sure to hold dear forever. Speaking of mom and dad, we got some wonderfully natural and gorgeous shots of the whole family together.

You could tell there was nowhere else they’d rather be than there on the beach together.

SEA ISLE CITY | PERFECT VACATION DESTINATION

Sea Isle NJ is the island next to my home away from home, Ocean City NJ. It’s a popular spot for family vacations, and many families enjoy their annual vacation there along the shore. A walk along the promenade is fun for everyone — people watching, delicious food, shopping, and great views. The nightlife also offers plenty in the way of fabulous restaurants, lively bars, and a laidback “no shower happy hour.” There’s also a lot to do in the daytime. Renting a kayak at the whale marina, fishing at Townsends Inlet, and mini-golfing at Pirate Island are just a few of the fun options for the whole family.
And then of course, what’s a beach vacation without plenty of sand and sun? The shore is a great place to lay out a towel, pop up an umbrella, take a dip in the water, or even just sit back and listen to the waves. When you need a break from the sun, there are lots of options for ice cream, frozen yogurt, and water ice! And finally, Sea Isle City beach photography is a fantastic way to bottle up your memories and make them last.

VACATIONS TO REMEMBER

Memories are made on vacations. A magical location, relaxing atmosphere, and lots of laughs make it the perfect time for a family photo session. As a photographer in Sea Isle City NJ, I’ve helped many families document their unforgettable summers with fabulous photos they’ll look at for years to come. There’s just something about having a great family photo that immediately transports you back to a special moment in time. You immediately recall the sand in your toes, the salty wind in your hair, and the bright blue sky above. Most of all you remember the ones you love and the connection that was built through that vacation.
