A First Birthday Cake Smash for Miss A | Newtown, PA First Birthday Pictures
We had met just a short time ago at her brother’s first birthday portrait session. When mom said she wanted to do a first birthday cake smash for his little sister who would be turning one in the upcoming spring, I was thrilled to start planning! Miss A is the sweetest little sister around. She has such a pleasant personality and you can tell how much she admires big brother! Her pink and gold cake smash set was beautiful!
The Cake Smash Backdrop
Mom and dad had just started planning her big first birthday bash, so this set was created with that theme in mind. Plenty of pink and some gold! Her first birthday cake smash outfit suited her perfectly with her name added to the skirt. The big gold O-N-E on the front was a nice touch. The banner mom brought in tied the whole set together making for a perfectly perfect cake smash portraits for a perfect little girl! The pink ombre cake was picture perfect, but not exactly what Miss A had in mind. She was more into the puffs that were carefully placed around the cake to grab her attention — nothing wrong with that!
I am loving the soft pink flowers we added to to the cake smash picture set for extra detail 🙂
You can see the snack of choice here for miss A…clearly, not the cake! No cake, no worries!
Towards the end of the cake smash photo shoot, we brought her one true love into the pictures, big bro A! He smiled so proudly holding her hands so tight!
Is there anything better than sweet baby toes?
Look
This photograph of big brother kissing his almost one-year-old sister melts my heart! It completely captures who they are.
Thank you so much, mom and dad, for allowing me to capture this truly once in a lifetime memory for you! I can’t wait for our next photo session together! xo, Heather
